James Jaeger

Who is he: James Jaeger is a Telly Award-winning filmmaker with over 25 years experience writing, directing and editing feature motion pictures, documentaries, TV commercials and multiple-camera live events. In late 1981, Jaeger founded Matrixx Productions to continue goals set forth by Lee Garmes and Academy Artists, Inc. and the Independent Screen Producers Association (predecessor to the AFMA), of which Mr. Jaeger is a founding member.

In 2007 James Jaeger's Matrixx Productions partnered with Cornerstone Entertainment and produced Fiat Empire featuring Rep. Ron Paul and Dr. Edwin Vieira. The documentary about the Federal Reserve System garnered a Telly Award and became the top documentary on the Internet for six months.

Matrixx Productions, now a division of Matrixx Entertainment Corporation, continues to develop documentaries and features. Currently in production is Original Intent (with Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan) and TESLA (based on the life story of Nikola Tesla).

Fiat Empire dissects the American Federal Reserve and shows how corporate media facilitates the partnership between the Fed and Congress. It explains how the Federal Reserve Member Banks are owned and controlled by an elite group of insiders. It also features presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Texas) and Freedom Force International founder and hard-money historian G. Edward Griffin.

The documentary also features Dr. Edwin Vieira, Ph.D., J.D. from Harvard (a foremost authority on the Constitution and the author of Pieces of Eight) who discusses the Fed and various long-term studies which indicate that the Federal Reserve System encourages war, destabilizes the economy and generates inflation (a hidden tax).

James Jaeger's latest film, SPOILER, is a feature-length documentary that explores how a third political party could win the presidential election of 2012 or 2016 with four key issues.

SPOILER features Freedom Force Founder, G. Edward Griffin (author of The Creature from Jekyll Island), Peter A. Lillback, author of George Washington's Sacred Fire, John McManus, President of the John Birch Society, PAT BUCHANAN, well-known author and political analyst; and Edwin Vieira, constitutional attorney from Harvard (author of Pieces of Eight. Inspired by strategy set forth in Nelson Hultberg's new book, The Conservative Revolution, SPOILER delves into the philosophic background that has saturated the U.S. the past 97 years and compares it with the first 127 years of our nation's history, what could be called the Libertarian-Conservative Era.

Background: James Jaeger comes from a medical family. His father was a psychiatrist and his grandfather was a neurosurgeon. At 13, Jaeger received a Double 8 movie camera and began shooting narrative dramas around the neighborhood. After attending several universities, Jaeger traveled to Hollywood where he was hired by Lee Garmes, who shot over 100 classical films including Gone With The Wind. Garnes introduced Jaeger to "movers and shakers" at the Academy of Motion Pictures, ASC and the DGA.

Jaeger was fortunate to edit Lee's last movie before he died and then began working with Barry Mahon, Errol Flynn's former manager. Barry taught Jaeger a good deal about producing and production management and Jaeger worked for his company on a number of features for CBS and Columbia Pictures and then perhaps ten other independent features.

In 1981, Jaeger and some associates formed Matrixx Productions began producing films closer to his own interests, which were not always mainstream.
