CIA Takes Over Pentagon
No longer a turf war, the Pentagon and CIA work closely ... With the increase use of drone strikes as a powerful fighting force, the military is looking to get more involved in intelligence. Greg Miller says that it's becoming more difficult to tell who's doing what as the Pentagon and CIA work closely together. David Petraeus, the highly decorated war hero, turned disgraced former head of the CIA made a once unthinkable shift from military to intelligence. But it isn't at all uncommon anymore. In fact, the line between the Pentagon and CIA has become harder to distinguish. – Public Radio International
Dominant Social Theme: The move toward combining intelligence with military activity is an efficient one.
Free-Market Analysis: Here's a new dominant social theme. We're supposed to be comforted apparently that the Pentagon and CIA are merging, with the CIA coming out on top.
Between the two groups, you've probably got nearly US$1 trillion being utilized for intel and military purposes per YEAR. No multinational corporation in the world has an operating budget of one trillion dollars. This is the largest, most powerful, most malicious enterprise on the planet.
Its reach is global, its mischief international and its official determination in aggregate to preserve the power and fortunes of the US are indelible, at the top anyway. And now the two organizations are to be one. The article quotes Greg Miller of the Washington Post on the merger as follows:
But, Miller says, there is another big factor for the CIA's embrace of the DIA.
"This deal that the CIA has cut with the Pentagon was enabled by the fact that the CIA gets to have ultimate control over what the Pentagon was doing," Miller said. "Whatever the Pentagon ends up doing, it's not going to undermine CIA operations. Secondly the CIA is so stretched that it welcomes the chance to have this other entity that it can offload work to."
Now that the military is coming out of two wars, it faces significant retrenchment. Intelligence agencies on the other hand, won't be facing the same level of budget cuts.
"One of the lessons coming out of 9/11 has only been reinforced over the past decade — that you can't afford to start cutting back on intelligence, or the consequences could be dire," he said.
The conclusion – that the Pentagon and CIA ought to work closely together – is questionable, to say the least. First of all, there are too many questions about what happened on 9/11 to draw ANY conclusion, let alone one that reemphasizes US Intel.
Second, even if one does emphasize intelligence, why is it necessary to combine the largest army on Earth with the most widespread, secretive intelligence operation? Doesn't make much sense to us, but then we're not military or Intel officers.
Our belief would tend to be that unless the Pentagon and CIA are formally merged, the agencies will eventually have a falling out and continue their competitive ways. On the other hand, if somehow the Pentagon does manage the feat of continuing to prostrate itself before the leaders of the CIA, then one does face the specter of the largest and most powerful Intel agency ever, one with a fully global operating zone.
While some in the US might be willing to rejoice at such a confluence, there is this to consider: Intelligence operations are inevitably turned on the citizens they are supposedly protecting.
The world's top banking families, in fact, supposedly developed Intel agencies privately several hundred years ago so as to help preserve their wealth from unexpected occurences.
The paradigm these days is simple ... The power elite itself runs Intel around the world. The Mossad, MI6, CIA and other multiple agencies are basically reporting to the world's largest banking families and their enablers and associates, from what we can tell.
In other words, the Intel agencies act as occupying forces, ensuring that politicians, business, media and military elements all work together to fuflil power elite goals.
If we use this paradigm, we come to the conclusion that the reason global governance continues to grow is because the topmost elites have both the money and muscle necessary to impose their will.
Now we face an effective, operational merger to make both the US military and CIA a single, seamless force controlled by those working out of the City of London, Washington DC, the Vatican and eventually, we assume, Jerusalem.
These city-states are powers unto themselves and it is from this axis that dominant social themes are launched and Money Power is exercised.
The world's top military and Intel agencies ought not to be seen as working for the interests of "the people" or of "nations." These entities work for those who CONTROL people and nations. Any merger of the kind we are observing will surely increase this power and aim it more directly at captive, domestic populations.
Conclusion: This is not therefore a welcome development in our view, no matter how it is cast as a matter of "national security." That was always a meaningless term in our view and it is no more credible today.

Foreign Terrorists Organizations (FTOs) Use of Social Media
Taken Question
Office of the Spokesperson
Washington, DC
December 11, 2012
QUESTION: Do 'U.S. based' social media companies violate sanctions if Foreign Terrorists Organizations (FTOs) agree to their company's contractual agreement before establishing an account?
ANSWER: This is an issue governed by U.S. law, including laws that regulate interactions with designated entities. For example, persons subject to U.S. jurisdiction are prohibited from knowingly providing material support or resources to an entity that has been designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations under section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
Additionally, it is illegal for persons subject to U.S. jurisdiction to engage in transactions with an entity that has been designated a Specially Designated Global Terrorist under Executive Order 13224.
We would refer you to the Department of Justice and the Department of the Treasury, respectively for any questions about how these are enforced in specific civil and criminal cases.[/quote]
Good Morning, John,
Regarding the above, which you shared on Cryptome this morning …. What is one to make of the admission of knowingly providing material support or resources to an entity that has been designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, by Hillary Clinton, in this videoed evidence ……. http://youtu.be/ifZK6SVlQ1Y And does such evidence additionally implicate other persons subject to U.S. jurisdiction in illegal engaging activity/transactions with an entity that has been designated a Specially Designated Global Terrorist under Executive Order 13224?

CIA---FUNDING OUR OWN SELF DESTRUCTION
TRUTHOUT website documents the control Goldman Sachs has acquired over European nations by financial indebtedness using various scams resulting in imposed austerity: Infiltration of our government is also presented with austerity measures already being discussed for the U.S. Ref. Click to view link .
A link to an article identifying the IMF and the World Bank (operatives of Wall Street) as the largest sources of world poverty inside the New World Order should be of interest: Click to view link
The IMF and World Bank rely upon the CIA to impose their exploitation upon indigenous citizens. Ref. KILLING HOPE by William Blum; CONFESSION OF ECONOMIC HIT MAN by John Perkins.
That the CIA is the operating arm of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) should be obvious. The government has no financial gain from the above mentioned exploitation. Numerous nefarious acts by the CIA including war-mongering and assassination operating against the best interests of the U.S. have been alleged. Ref. Click to view link . The U.S. military is used to squelch any resistance.
That the CFR is the social facade of businesses and organizations to multiply gains and eliminate competition is evident from their operation. That their organization is funded and controlled by Wall Street to promote a New World Order is unquestionable. TRAGEDY AND HOPE by Carroll Quigley.
That interlocking directorships of major businesses as controlled by Wall Street and Rockefeller Trusts and Foundations has been known for decades. ROCKEFELLER FILE by Gary Allen.
That every dollar of deficit spending ($4 billion EVERY DAY !!! ) is hidden profit for the Federal Reserve BOG (with unidentified ownership assumed but assured to include Goldman Sachs and Wall Street banks) through the FRBNY using the auction accounts of Treasury securities has been presented. The mathematical conclusion appears inescapable. Ref. Federal Reserve Heist, Click to view link ..
Those funds that legally belonged to the government have assuredly been the funds that helped promote and finance the above cabal. Concealment of funds that belong to the government is a crime. Ref. RIP OFF BY THE FEDERAL RESERVE, Click to view link
Every action of the Federal Reserve for the past five years has been to protect Wall Street and international bankers.
And Congress proposes a National Budget that gives the cabal more trillions of dollars via National Debt and has the audacity to claim fiscal responsibility? GET REAL !!!!!
Deficit spending by the government is funding our own self destruction for the benefit of Wall Street.
An audit of the Treasury auction accounts at the FRBNY should be demanded.

The "news" of a merger might just be for public consumption, see'in the quality of Commander in Chief. Public faith in the program still helps things run smoother. But, who or what will wear the dunce cap for the next "intelligence failure"?

They probably figure that merging them is the only way they can keep a handle on the American (and perhaps larger) version of the Cultural Revolution about to be unleashed.

The Director of Central Intelligence was NEVER responsible to the President.
Like the President, the DCI is a Pentagon tool - plain and simple. The CIA's place in the Grand Scheme of Things is greatly overestimated!
Every CIA operation of significance was planned by the Pentagon - inter alia, the U-2 spyplane program (flown by military pilots engaged in the photographing of military targets) - it's safe to say that no U-2 mission ever concerned itself with the wheat yield in the Ukraine; the Bay of Pigs (conceived by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but handed off to the CIA for reasons explained below); the Kennedy, King, and Letelier Sanctions; the Iran-Contra Affaire (Ollie North was the Pentagon's property), and 911 (where, in the aftermath, the hapless DCI, George Tenet, was trotted out on cue to recite the ritual 'Mea Culpa' of 'faulty intelligence.'
As long as the Pentagon (aka, the government) deploys men and women attired in anything other than BDUs, the government (aka, the Pentagon) can pretend that there were no 'combatants' participating in the operation du jour, and therefore it was not an Act of War, or anything alarming like that - just a few 'rogues' who let 'things get out of hand.' You know how it goes…
The CIA, as its title states, is an agency.
Agencies consist of agents.
Agents are - by definition - not principals!
A useful sidebar - The relative influence of any intelligence organization is inversely proportional to its public profile, viz. - The FBI is an open book compared to the CIA; the CIA is an open book compared to the DIA; the DIA is an open book compared to the NSA. The latter two are not civilian entities.
Bottom line - the CIA has no strategic autonomy!
There now - see how easy it is…
I might add to the above:
Whenever the Pentagon needs to obscure (or to deny altogether) its role as the chief architect of an ongoing 'project' or criminal operation the existence of which somehow seeped into the public discourse despite the military's best efforts to prevent such notwithstanding, the CIA (or FBI, DHS, ATF, NAS, NIST, etc.) is called upon to play the 'Ghostbuster' role.
To field the flak and/or dispense the chaff…
Examples include: the Robertson Panel and the Condon Committee convened by the CIA in 1952 and 1967, respectively, to coverup the Pentagon's involvement in UFO related matters; the Warren Commission and the House Select(-ed) Committee on Assassinations (no explanations needed, one hopes); .the Waco Investigation, wherein the FBI and ATF staged a counterfeit 'reenactment' of the sequence of events. Yup, the WACO Massacre was the Pentagon's oeuvre, directed by one Wesley Clark (soon to become the Butcher of Belgrade); the Flight 800 Investigation, wherein the CIA was ordered to produce a deceitful anime to explain away the Navy's role in the shootdown. (How do we know this? Easy - an NSA spysat videographed the entire event. The NSA has acknowledged this, yet has steadfastly refused to release the film. Hmm…wonder why that is?); and most recently, there's the 911 Commission staffed by MIC manservants of the Lee Hamilton genus, and deploying the Intellectual Harlots on retainer at NIST…
Just to mention a few…
Cheers,
JQP
Reply from The Daily Bell
Thanks, JQP, this is most eloquent. But who really knows what goes on at the top of these organizations - or which organization is empowered to do what?
Maybe it depends on the people involved. Also, the CIA is funded by black ops drug money apparently. If the CIA and other organizations take most of their funding off-the-books can you say with certainty that the lines of command run irreperably through the Pentagon? ...
We won't.

"In other words, the Intel agencies act as occupying forces, ensuring that politicians, business, media and military elements all work together to fuflil power elite goals."
Do you think that Intel are realising that they don't need the power elite, recognising that the power elite cannot function and survive and prosper outrageously without them and their special forces and quite magical services?

General Wesley Clark: Because I had been through the Pentagon right after 9/11.
About ten days after 9/11, I went through the Pentagon and I saw Secretary Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary Wolfowitz. I went downstairs just to say hello to some of the people on the Joint Staff who used to work for me, and one of the generals called me in. He said, "Sir, you've got to come in and talk to me a second." I said, "Well, you're too busy." He said, "No, no." He says, "We've made the decision we're going to war with Iraq." This was on or about the 20th of September. I said, "We're going to war with Iraq? Why?" He said, "I don't know." He said, "I guess they don't know what else to do." So I said, "Well, did they find some information connecting Saddam to al-Qaeda?" He said, "No, no." He says, "There's nothing new that way. They just made the decision to go to war with Iraq." He said, "I guess it's like we don't know what to do about terrorists, but we've got a good military and we can take down governments." And he said, "I guess if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem has to look like a nail."
