Obama Spin Reveals Elite Roots
We track power elite dominant social themes large and small. As part of this effort, we've uncovered what we believe to be patterns of "directed history" leading toward ever-bigger government at both national and international levels.
Elites love government because they control society via mercantilism, the use of public power to enhance private advantages.
As the US has evolved along increasingly imperial lines, mercantilism has grown more obvious and intrusive. Over US$3 trillion is administered via government programs and bureaucrats. With so much money at stake, the political process itself has been increasingly rationalized. In many ways US Inc. is a large business, run by powerful people who have a great deal at stake financially.
Less and less is left up to chance these days. Candidates are vetted for malleability and cooperation within the boundaries of what is tolerable. Someone like Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) offered up well-received ideas about freedom and free markets. The "establishment" ostracized him and the GOP itself worked hard to ensure he would not win the nomination nor even have a voice at the convention.
Rules were changed to ensure that Ron Paul's delegates did not obtain clout and when this was not enough, delegates were intimidated physically and even beaten up. But someone like Democratic president Barack Obama ran into no such resistance. He was very obviously a "chosen" candidate – one selected by a US power elite for purposes that still do not seem entirely clear.
But there are many tales surrounding his background, most of which have to do with CIA affiliations not only for him but also for his family. Access to his records going back all the way to kindergarten have been barred and there is considerable evidence he was born abroad.
As president, Obama carried on with the various programs of what we might call the Imperium. He continued its wars, its domestic intimidation and its corporate empowerment.
Part of Obama's program involved the continual degradation of the US economy. By raising taxes, increasing regulation and further militarizing the US economy, Obama guaranteed both the continued rise of mercantilism and the further impoverishment of US citizens.
This is a considerable accomplishment within the context of the anger and frustration that many in the country feel. Of course, Obama has been helped by what seems to be a controlled mainstream media that faithfully reports his perspectives and refuses to probe his policies too aggressively.
Obama himself has helped his cause with a professorial wonkishness that is somewhat disarming. He doesn't come across as an especially manipulative or destructive type, not overtly anyway.
He is, in other words, a good front man for the interests that supported him and helped place him in the most powerful job in the world. His mission: To further mercantilism and increase US support for internationalism and global government.
His performance within this context has been adequate and thus those who backed him before are apparently making every effort to ensure he gets another term to "finish" whatever it is he has been charged with accomplishing.
Obama himself, as we can see from the first debate between him and challenger Mitt Romney, is probably somewhat psychologically at a disadvantage in this campaign. No matter who you are, it is difficult to defend behaviors that are intended to be destructive of the very citizenry you were elected to serve. Thus it is, perhaps, that Obama found it hard to defend his policies and term in office. Mitt Romney is said to have won the first debate.
Of course, Romney has been picked by the same special interests that selected Obama, one surmises. Nonetheless, Obama is the Chosen One. Romney is merely the backup.
And so a great many manipulations are now taking place to ensure that Obama is seen as having momentum despite his recent weak performance.
It is instructive to look at what is going on because it gives us a clearer picture of the ease with which the power elite exercises its clout on behalf of those it wants to support.
Whether you believe elites are merely a network of powerful people with similar interests or a cohesive cadre of globalists, the manipulations being applied to the Barack Obama campaign for a second term as US president are truly remarkable.
Again, they are worth noting because they show us the immense power of these elites when it comes to supporting a specific goal and personality. We can catalogue four separate elements of manipulation on Obama's behalf, as follows:
- Jobs are suddenly up.
- Media is spinning like crazy on his debate performance.
- Polls now show him drawing ahead.
- Osama bin Laden books and movies are suddenly appearing.
Here's something from just yesterday from the New York Times regarding employment, entitled "Jobs Report Brings Unexpected Good News for Obama" ...
President Obama waved to the crowd after speaking at a campaign rally at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. ... After a lackluster debate, President Obama faced the prospect of a second piece of bad political news with Friday morning's jobs report. Instead, Mr. Obama — and the economy — received some unexpected good news.
Economists will spend the rest of the day parsing the numbers and arguing over exactly the best way to describe the report, but there is little question about its overall thrust: positive. An energized President Obama, appearing at a campaign rally outside Washington, seized on the news, saying "this country has come too far to turn back."
Speaking to 1,935 supporters at George Mason University a few hours after the numbers were released, Mr. Obama said, "This morning, we found out that the unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since I took office. More Americans entered the work force; more people are getting jobs."
The rate dropped sharply, to 7.8 percent from 8.1 percent, because the Labor Department's survey of households showed a large gain in the number of employed people in September. The survey of businesses showed a smaller gain, but it also showed that hiring gains in July and August were larger than expected.
When it comes to the debate itself, the mainstream media has worked hard to transform a defeat into victory. Here's an excerpt of an article posted at Newsbusters describing this process. ("MRC" refers to the Media Research Center):
ABC's Stephanopoulos Leads Post-Debate Media Spin for Democrats ... Leading into tomorrow's presidential debate, journalists are busy setting expectations for the candidates. On Sunday's Good Morning America, ABC's George Stephanopoulos argued that Mitt Romney is under "huge, huge" pressure: "He is behind right now. He is behind nationally, he's behind in all of the battleground states. This is the last big audience that Mitt Romney is going to have with about four and a half weeks left to go."
But more undecided voters will be swayed by the media's post-debate spin about who won and who lost than by any pre-debate expectations. Reviewing the last several campaigns, MRC analysts have found a clear trend of network reporters fawning over the performance of liberal candidates, while harping on any perceived weaknesses or gaffes from conservatives.
One of the most reliable pro-Democratic pundits is none other than George Stephanpoulos — not especially surprising, given his track record as a loyal operative for Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign, but hardly the objective, unbiased voice touted by ABC News.
MRC has documented how, in eight out of the last nine general election presidential debates (every one since he joined ABC News in 1997), Stephanopoulos has gone on his network's airwaves to claim victory for the Democratic candidate, all in the guise of offering impartial analysis.
AP has joined the fray by reporting on Obama's edge in political ads. After weeks of articles asserting that Romney has a fund-raising edge, we learn suddenly that Obama is well out in front when it comes to actual political promotion. Here's an excerpt from an article written and posted yesterday:
Report: Obama campaign outpacing Romney's in ads ... A new report finds that President Barack Obama's re-election campaign has run more than twice as many TV ads in nine key states as has the campaign of his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney.
The Nielsen Co. said Friday that Obama's campaign had run nearly 230,000 ads in Nevada, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire from the beginning of the year through early September, compared with about 87,000 for Romney. All are considered battlegrounds this year, with both candidates competing heavily in those states for votes.
The biggest disparity was in Ohio. Obama's campaign ran just over 51,000 ads in the state compared to nearly 17,500 for Romney. No Republican has ever won the White House without carrying Ohio, and recent polls show Obama ahead there.
Wisconsin, the home state of running mate Rep. Paul Ryan, is the only state where Romney has edged the president in ads. Nielsen said Romney's campaign had run 1,952 ads there compared to 1,391 for Obama.
Perhaps the most startling promotional mechanism has to do with the death of Osama bin Laden. In numerous articles we've explained that it is very difficult to believe that bin Laden died on May 1, 2011. Along with many others, we believe he more likely died ten years ago of Marfan syndrome leading to kidney failure.
When proclaiming bin Laden's death the Obama administration produced no DNA, no photos, no body and no eyewitness to support the announcement. Additionally, accounts varied widely regarding bin Laden's death and even whether or not his body had actually been dumped at sea, as claimed. Search the Internet for "bin Laden" and "Daily Bell" for more on this topic.
Despite the obvious difficulties regarding the bin Laden death narrative, the Obama publicity machine has ground on. Though Pakistani eyewitnesses to the raid give a completely different story, the US mainstream media has done no investigative work. They've simply reported on the various triumphalist "spins" regarding bin Laden's death. Here's an excerpt from an article that was posted yesterday at Commentary magazine:
Bin Laden Film By Obama Bundler to Air Days Before Election ... This is Obama-bundler Harvey Weinstein's made-for-TV film about the Osama bin Laden raid, not to be confused with the much-hyped Kathryn Bigelow movie on the same subject (that one is supposed to come out at the end of the year). Weinstein's film will air on National Geographic Channel on November 4, which many have pointed out is a pretty coincidental date:
A film dramatizing the death of Osama bin Laden is set to debut next month on the National Geographic Channel, two days before the presidential election. "Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden," from The Weinstein Co. and Voltage Pictures, will air Sunday, Nov. 4, the channel said Thursday. President Barack Obama faces Republican challenger Mitt Romney at the polls two days later.
Weinstein co-chairman Harvey Weinstein is a prominent fundraiser for Obama's re-election campaign, which has touted bin Laden's death as an example of the president's leadership.
When we add all this up, a fairly definitive picture of massive manipulation emerges.
The US economy is moribund and slipping into what seems to be an actual depression but according to brand new Fedgov statistics, employment is up sharply! Obama's debate performance was a losing one but the media itself is defending his conduct and providing a number of alternative narratives.
There are polls being reported that show how the president's campaign has been able to muster considerable promotional clout in "battleground states." And most disturbing of all, a flood of media reports continue to celebrate the recent death of an archenemy of the US who apparently died ten years ago.
There are many who dispute – who cannot psychologically tolerate – the idea that the US and the West are subject to massive elite manipulation on a number of fronts. We are told that to proffer the idea that Money Power has created a virtual false universe of sociopolitical and economic assumptions is simplistic and "paranoid."
But please observe these elections and the vastness of resources being brought to bear on reelecting Barack Obama. More eloquently than anything we can write, this barely concealed display shows how deeply elite control actually runs.
If all else fails, of course, the votes themselves may be miscounted. Conveniently, ballots are being sent to Spain. We've written about that here: VIDEO: Who's Counting the Votes?
Directed elections, anybody?

Another song for the choir. Indeed perhaps the main reason such things at the Daily Bell exists is because it sings to the choir... who knows. As such it's threat seems minimal. Mainstream is still hooked on dumbed down TV. The very idea that killing Bin Laden is an act of leadership takes wide spread disabled thinking (or lazy non thought).
Generally any child can tell you that in America, no suspected criminal is guilty until a court of law pronounces guilt. Now, because the media has pushed Bin Laden so deep into the guilt chamber a president who dictates his death is not thought to be a dictator but a hero.
Who needs laws and trials? Certainly not Obama! He can kill suspects with out trial and people lap it up like hungry dogs. Of course, the excuse for this is that if Bin Laden were put on trial, it would cause social unrest! This is sort of like arresting criminals who have yet to commit a crime but are thinking about it.
Moving on.
Benazir Bhutto blurted out that Bin Laden was dead on David Frost and George W. Bush claimed at one point to have killed him in a bunker. Indeed these two things made me also wonder what sort of Bunk it was that the whole thing passed by with great fanfare but little evidence that anything really happened more than a media bonaza.
For a long time indeed I felt Bhutto's statement both strange but telling, but have found what sounds like Gerald Celente's voice doing a rather good debunk of the Bhutto statement (not conclusive, but strong in that direction :
As for debunking Bush, it does not seem to be necessary as his bunk seemed obvious enough from the moment he got tapped by scull and bone right though and through. For those who don't think so, well, nothing I write here will change your minds if you haven't figured it out for yourselves anyway.
There were also rumors that Bin Laden died of cancer in an american hospital (in one of the mini super rich oil middle east hubs) right around the time of 9/11.
Frankly, being one of the ultra crazies who disbelieve the media hyped up standard oiled story about 9/11, thus supect the worse as the money points to rather bigger geopolitical interests than the grudge Bin Laden had over america's support of Israel... (a fact the media never mentions)
America's support of Israel? This may well be backwards!
The elite super banker families who signed the Balfour Declaration in 1917 (thus creating the basis for Israel) are the same banking family deeply implicated in the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank ; and have been pushing an pulling to gain central banking power over the States since before the revolution.
They were the source of Andrew Jackson's resistance and certainly had causing dirty fingers in the doings of Lincoln's civil war, etc.. In effect thus suspect that the USA is still a sort of owned colony belonging to these banking elites!
These who also own or control Israel (not to mention speculations that they also financed an profited off of all sides of WWII as well as the Bolshevik revolution, if not Mao... ). As such the jewish people are just as duped by these, or "their" elites as the Americans and indeed the British.
An elite has no religion but power & money (in GOD we trust : Gold, Oil, Drugs) : no matter what church, synagog or temple they may attend. This branch of elite are not the only elites either, but indeed an important rather hard core part of the world's tiny elite pushing for world control. My point is this banking branch is no less a very important part of the puzzle of world (globalist) power.
The seizing and arming of Israel uses "the Hitler excuse" to finalize owning their own country with the nice comfortable meme that the Jewish people are otherwise not safe (even though Hitler was financed into power by bankers) but in fact this excuse is the meme to control a tiny bit of land which happens to be exactly in the centre of the earth's two largest land masses. The same banking family which created it, also took over the British financial system by luring Napoleon into the Waterloo trap and tricking the London stock market the next day into thinking Napoleon won.
As such panicked the market thus bought it at pennies on the pound. The single greatest insider trading crime of all time ! So I ask you... does American and Britain support and arm Israel or is it the other way around?! Zionism is not a religion, it is a politic serving certainly some larger interest. Mercantilism?!
As such, someone (a trained by CIA, thus likely asset) who is vocally and violently annoyed by this, is the official but unconvictable scapegoat for a crime which needs no trial because the puppet of power can dictate death with no questions asked. Not even : did this really happen? Did the elite forces storm and shoot the designated scapegoat? Do we need proof if you fearless leader (of uncertain origins) says it is so?
The fact that they can not capture, but can kill, yet can not show pictures, proof, the body, nothing (there are now leaked images of a man with a beard that looks a bit like Bin Laden ; dead with a bullet hole in the head : so yo! Believe believe believe... ) Well.
The churn of wondering goes on! Leading to my key question.
What is the source of what this article suspects concerning BL dying of Marfan's syndrome. It is a very precise thing to say, so I'd like to know exactly the source. Thank you!
Oh yes, and please, I am in no way anti Jewish. The jewish people are an interesting multicultured, often talented people with a deep interesting religion from which my own religion comes. There are good and bad individuals among them as with any peoples. I do, however, disagree with the political nature of Zionism (which often is anti semitic as indeed arab peoples are also semitic), but am critical of much of the world's present an historic political doings and can not thus ignore the elites from this peoples which have had such a large effect on the world.
Reply from The Daily Bell
"As such the jewish people are just as duped by these, or "their" elites as the Americans and indeed the British."
We have discussed this in numerous articles. Unfortunately, many anti-Semites continue to blame "all" Jews and "all" Zionists for what is evidently and obviously a banking mafia, albeit one with a large "Jewish" constituency. (Of course one still as to ask what a "Jew" is ... current DNA research notwithstanding)

I had the feeling that Obama was perhaps too far ahead in the polls going into the first debate and was maybe told to lose it. The two party system kind of depends on as close to a 50:50 split as you can get.
Another thing to the list of fortuitous manipulation could have been the storm that hit New York. It certainly gave Obama plenty of opportunity to look presidential. Many people theorise that weather manipulation is possible due to technology like HAARP

It's astonishing to me how a faceless, nameless GROUP of world elites somehow coordinates its efforts and acts just like your everyday garden-variety narcissist, your neighborhood psychopath.
My elderly "Aunt Dingbat" is a de facto microcosm of the power elites. The power elites believe they know everything and are therefore entitled to run everybody else's lives... just like Aunt D. The power elites pit people against each other with their sneaky divide and conquer schemes... just like Aunt D. The power elites lie and nag and manipulate and censor and ostracize... just like Aunt D. The power elites come up with goofy schemes like global warming... just like Aunt D. The power elites have no conscience, no empathy... just like Aunt D. The Nagging Nanny Goat State "Mommy Dearest" power elites play mind games against the rest of us like "Mother May I" and "Simon Says!" It's a war between Narcissists & Normals.
Therefore it would seem that the remedy to freeing ourselves from the narcissistic, psychopathic world power elites would be along the same lines of breaking free from your basic, garden variety, personal-level, overbearing family narcissist... So, does anybody know how to do that? (I don't).

Not voting for Romney means Obama wins? So what, let him win.
I for one will not be guilted into concurring with treason against the Constitution. I will abide by that social contract because I expect others to do the same. "Leaders" who openly promise to transgress in their campaigns get a pass? Let the chips fall where they may. Can anyone stop them? They will stop themselves when it pays them to do so. But they are counting on our support.
Is letting the chips fall where they may sound too scary? Then learn that dependence on yourself and trusted normal everyday people around you is what supports you. Not government, not any official authority, and not creditor/predator banking.
Even our military is made up of sons and daughters and dads and uncles. Our technology comes from unassuming persons across the way and next door too. People will always network. There is nothing magic about the federal government except a draw to the easy fleecing of the compliant.
For most of the government workers who are innocent civil servants, their jobs could be done in the private sector, along with the rest of us civil servants, if market demand dictates, instead of a monopoly on aggression dictating.
I will write in Ron Paul and vote for my local politcians, the ones I can talk to, who are not "above" me, and the various proposals on the issues. But fed/gov is out of control. Not only has it out grown its usefull purpose, it is becoming tyrannical and dangerous. I withdraw my support for it every way I can.

@ janie3
Your statement and subsequent question,"Who actually runs the government? It is not the president; he is just a puppet of the elite. Question is can anyone stop them?"
The answer is:
You janie3, you can stop them. BUT not by permitting the charade to continue by casting a vote for it. For it is the system that is rotten. By participating at all and choosing the lesser of two evils as a candidate, you are still choosing evil. Not voting for Romney is NOT a vote for Obama. It is simply not a vote for either of the puppets.

I am of the opionion that not voting for Romney means Obama wins. Will it matter if I write in a canidate? Who is going to look at that and make changes in how government is run? I would have voted for Ron Paul but he wasn't given much of a chance. Who actually runs the government? It is not the president; he is just a puppet of the elite. Question is can anyone stop them?

You should give credit where credit is due. Britain has debt that is pretty close to the debt of Japan. Much of Japan's debt is held internally. Britain's,, not so much.
If you look at the European countries, you see a flow of money from external investors to internal investors. Euro countries are morphing to Japanese style.
When debt is held internally, it is easier for GOV to enforce capital controls.
I suspect that the hope is; as long as the "wealth" is held internally, it will be universally available to prop up whichever bank is weakest.
Martin Weiss is working hard to ruin that plan. He is rating ALL banks and credit unions. So, while the money is held internally, it is NOT available to the bad banks. The velocity of money is crashing and it isn't going to come to rest in bad banks.

Inflation, and hyper-inflation if the inflating gets out of control, do not cause The Elites to lose wealth. They normally, and can be expected in the instant case, to greatly increase their wealth. There is a huge transfer of wealth from the middle class to the elites taking place at this time. Have you not noticed?
This inflation is lawful inasmuch as it is the policy of our "elected" and appointed leaders and administrators. Have you ever seen a prosecution for unlawfully inflating the money supply, besides non-official counterfeiting? It's much more likely that they would be criticized for not inflating, e.g. W.J. Bryan's "crucifying the common man on a Cross of Gold". Nearly everyone would like a bit more money jingling in his pockets, even though those same people will also complain about rising prices without ever making the connection between the two.

@ dave jr. Carbon tax is a tricky one. Some of the major power brokers want to see a continued use of carbon energy. BUT, if the price goes too high, that will stimulate alternatives. China recently accepted a patent on a cold-fusion device [LENR]
Germany recently accepted a patent on a magnet motor based on the Perendev patent.
So far, wind energy hasn't taken hold in America;
Japan recently announced that they would allow solar generated energy to charge 3 times the price of other sources.
So, you can easily expect different power groups to try to maintain utilization of whatever energy source they controlled.
Natural gas is currently in a glut so many generating stations have been converted to NG. I was up at the Prudhoe oil fields and they have a huge amount of gas and no pipeline. Their plan is to use the existing oil pipeline for gas. North Slope oil has a sand content and the existing pipeline is being abraded. They want a new pipe for the Gull Island oil also.
We may very well be at peak cheap-oil. According to Pastor Williams, the oil majors want $ 200 a bbl so that it would pay to bring in deep oil. Carbon tax and higher base prices would shrink their market.
Carbon tax is a two-edged sword.

Ya, but I wouldn't call inflation "lawfull" meaning legitimate by consent. It is a hidden tax by trickery and the elite want something better, safer.
For them, inflation is a two edged sword. I serves as a means of extracting wealth, but if control is lost, hyper-inflation will do them in. Then they will have to start all over.

@Danny:
Not so. The Elites, which presumably include the Rockefellers, have "gained consent for a lawfull (in their view) world tax needed for a means of world governance." It is called inflation of the fiat money supply. It is a huge tax on the savings of all Earthlings. No one seems to be exempt at this point except perhaps for a few tin-foil hat gold hoarders.
The race to create more fiat money is being held as we post. The dollar seems to have edged out the Euro and Yen by a nose recently. But never fear, there is still hope for the Euro (and the Yen) to get to worthlessness first.

I think dimitri's overlooking the fact that nobody had to be interested in Ron Paul, so his popularity, but more foreboding for the elite, the rising popularity of his message, was certainly no intended plot. His strength WAS a surprise and this is precisely why they had to tear off their mask for all to see in the Ron Paul campaign.
I see more and more situations where the Ron Paul movement and Austrian Economics create winds that sometimes blow at the curtain here and there and important people begin to see. I personally actually think that the creation of the financial crisis might just turn out as one of those days in directing, where someone had a bad day and the whole thing didn't work out. And now people like A. Wile and the whole host of Austrian Economics students and teachers, plus the Internet Reformation, mind you, have in my mind already forced the elite to make adjustments and react faster.
The Internet is exploding with anti-elite information attacks and whole disparate movements beginning to look deeper. End the Fed has long gone viral. People need to be educated. Want to be educated. Trust in the MSM is sinking fast.

@ Danny,
The main tool of the NWO, the fiat currency, is under tremendous strain and Rockefellers "window of opportunity" IS closing, AND they haven't yet gained consent for a lawfull (in their view) world tax needed for a means of world governance.
A carbon tax would do the trick. Carbon credits - a tax and a currency rolled into one. It won't matter who gets elected. Watch for it to be back in front of Congress or buried in an international treaty, or both.

The obammunist had to make Rombama look like he had a chance. It de-legitimizes the farce when people don't participate in choosing their own masters. I am amazed that anyone bothered to watch this staged fake "debate" after the farce of a primary season. The amusing spectacle of the "religious" right hypocrites cheering the cheating and smearing of the principled, logical, and moral Ron Paul (and no, he's not part of the cabal although, sadly, it appears his son is) in state primaries has only furthered the ends of the elites. Those hypocrites think if Rombama wins they will be able to wield the sword of state and smite THEIR enemies for a while, which is much more satisfying than allowing people to live as they please and make their own life choices. The same goes for the liberal people pushers and "nudges". Deck chairs on the Titanic.
