Elites Crush PIGS – Old Game Plan Made Anew?

By Staff Report
22

Spain's economy contracts as recession fears grow ... The Spanish economy has shrunk for the first time in two years, increasing fears the country could be heading for a recession. The country's economy shrank by 0.3% in the three months to December, after stagnating in the previous quarter. Household spending fell by 1.1% from the previous quarter, while spending by public bodies dropped by 3.6%. The country has the highest jobless rate in the EU, with almost one in four people out of work. Spain's unemployment figure passed the five million mark in the last quarter of 2011. Figures showed 5.3 million people were out of work at the end of December, up from 4.9 million in the third quarter. The downbeat fourth-quarter economy figures come even before the impact of new austerity measures unveiled last month by new Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy. – BBC

Dominant Social Theme: Austerity is tough but builds character.

Free-Market Analysis: Did you hear that about half of Europe is in recession or headed that way? We can see from the above excerpt that Spain is certainly headed that way. Greece, Portugal and Ireland are also in various forms of economic collapse.

Call it recession, depression or simply cataclysmic economic conditions. But one way or another Southern Europe is in a terrible state. Greece is in a meltdown; half the young people in Spain aren't working and Portugal and Ireland aren't far behind.

Heck, let's just call it a continental depression. And one that is as unnecessary as it is terrible. The elites that set up the European Union by subterfuge bribed the Southern government PIGS with funds.

This is no different than the way the tag team of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund act. The World Bank lends money to dictators and then hauls in the IMF to make the suffering citizens pay the bill.

The strategy is doubly delicious because the "banks" get blamed for what is essentially a top-end elite plot. Capitalism and the mechanical process of paying interest are blamed while the planners behind it all remain unscathed.

When things get too bad, other tried and true formulas are pushed to the fore. It's all been done before, after all. The apparent dynastic families that are trying to set up world government are seemingly pushing ahead with this scheme via economic depression and war – as they have in the past.

We can see this same formula in use in the 1930s. First came a great money-printing euphoria in the 1920s, then a central-banking-caused depression and finally a world war. The war is generated during the depression as people grow angry and are ready to lash out at any perceived enemy.

Not only this, but a war allows the government to renounce its debts and put the entire economy on a command-and-control footing where young men are dragooned into military service to work for a dollar a day. Companies are commandeered to make military equipment. The depression is short-circuited by the government's state of emergency.

Yes ... we can see this sort of paradigm taking shape now if we look hard. And within this context austerity makes sense. Those whom the elites wish to manipulate must first be made destitute and miserable.

Only then will war and state dirigisme seem attractive or at least tolerable. Surely there were many individuals during the Great Depression that found war to be an attractive alternative to the prospect of starving slowly to death.

This is likely the plan. It seems evident and obvious to us, as we've pointed out numerous times, that the Western powers-that-be are setting up a kind of Islamic crescent in the Middle East. Almost every country that has been destabilized was secular and will now emerge with an Islamic government. Step by step, the West is creating an "Islamic threat."

In the meantime, the creation of an economic collapse continues apace. It is the elite's economy, after all. A tiny group of people now control the world's central banks. And through money printing they have so distorted the world's economy that it will take years, if not decades, to recover.

Within this context, the power elite continually aggravates the situation by pressing ruined civilizations to give up more wealth and treasure. It is a sub-dominant theme of sorts, that Europe needs to struggle through austerity to come out stronger and leaner.

What is also true is that these public promotions are patient based and focus on the hapless citizen as a passive observer. Just yesterday we pointed out how articles often refer to the average citizen as a patient, and elite central bankers as doctors.

And then there is the metaphor of the punchbowl that treats people as partygoers. And now we have the European metaphor of consumer as lazy weakling with central bankers seen as administering strong, severe medicine ... austerity.

Always, people are presented as lazy, sick, lackadaisical or ne'er do wells staying at the "punch bowl" too long. Always, the current system is presented as stern, sorrowful, wise but merciless. It is a parent/child relationship with the self-appointed elites playing the role of omnipotent father figure.

The propaganda is relentless and contemptuous. In fact, he hundreds of millions of Europeans are not children. And the handful of bankers and Brussels bureaucrats supervising their demise are not their fathers.

Step back and look at the "big picture." An economic depression is being foisted on the Western world and the world at large. Once the BRICs collapse, the world's economy is finished. There will likely be no "recovery," not in the short term anyway.

And so bang the drums of war. For war seems an inevitability. The one difference between now and the 1930s is the Internet and what we call the Internet Reformation.

Many more people are aware of the manipulations that we've presented above and written about numerous times along with the rest of the alternative media. The Renaissance and Reformation changed the context of the world after the advent of the Gutenberg Press. The Internet is doing so again.

Conclusion: Nothing is preordained. Time and the action of individuals – human action – will tell the tale.

Be prepared for FuturistICQ Seven Samurai ProgramMING ... ... . and SMART Virtual Operations, which are Astute and Practically Anonymous, Autonomous and Quite Alien in Nature and something totally different because IT uses IT Command and Control of Creative CyberSpace, Computers and Communications to Deliver Novel Answers.

DB, With regard to the Internet Reformation, any man and his dog, and there are many, can talk a great talk and bark and bite, but very few can actually walk the walk and revolutionise, beyond the dreams of present reality, the virtual machine that powers Man's pathetic and apathetic condition and current failed programming, which has and does follow so closely the paths you have so clearly described to the mad outcome of crazy dim-witted wars. The game is WAR.

The algorithm IS

If THEY have something YOU want...

falsely generalize, define a "group", claimed to be ENEMY, because due to their beliefs, nature, etc are an enemy of "common interest" (as in Jews, by the Nazis)

using subverted media...

a) DEMONIZE: set the stage, demonize with false allegations and predictions of disaster if "somebody" (those creating the problem) doesn't "do something" (pre-emptive justice)

b) SOCIALLY / ECONOMICALLY isolate: Those who "believe" "a" sever associations, shun, pick on "the decreed enemy" and members of those of the decreed "group". When enough "social consensus" is achieved, escalate, blockade, economic sanctions. When the sanctions "work", blame the effects (such as starvation, lack of medical, unemployment ... ) on the "leaders" of the demonized.

c) INITIATE AGGRESSION: When sufficient "consensus" is perceived to be "achieved", send in the "peacekeepers", to "restore order" and impose the "neccessary" servitude on the people.

In this instance, the alleged laziness and sloth of the PIGS populace will rationalize external control, to "restore order" and impose the "neccessary" servitude on the people.

It all comes down to: If you refuse servitude, you are an enemy of "common interest"

Ain't gonna work out too well, which may be "the plan":

By the perspectives of the alliance of the luddites and "population reductionists" (genocidial maniacs) whom falsely assume thy are "in control", this planet is not "big enough for both of us" and, they seek far fewer of us. The population the planet can support is directly proportional to economic activity. THEY are inhibiting and collapsing economic activity.

My response: You first.

Exactly. Larken Rose nailed it in a terrific interview with Anthony Wile the other day:

'Those in power claim they got these super-human rights from us, from the people, despite the fact that we never had such rights to begin with, and still have no such rights and couldn't possibly have given them to anyone else. That's just one example of how what we're taught as basic civics is absurd, insane and horribly dangerous garbage.'

Europe don't understand the game. In fake money modern economies you have to print money and issue debt. This is how the middle class can maintain a phony sense of wealth. In the real real world, if you didn't have phony inflation, you would live much more simple as God intended. You would not leverage huge amounts with the expectation that you will always have a phony income... You would simply eat from that which you have grown. So Europe will fail. The key elite know this and they will use this to build a even more phony united states of EU. And well the world will do the same, phony phony phony... This too will fail for the same reason... It's in the bible, why can't you understand that? Why do the 'educated' keep proping up this phony capitalism/socialsim/communism... It's all phony and will fail... Why can't the 'educated' understand it has already been written? The 'educated' can read, no?

The PIGS are the oldest of the old economies in Europe. From their inceptions as nations, they have existed in their own way despite the popular "ideas swirling around them". That is why they are so popular as vacation spots for the rest of Europe! When you are among them it is like being in a different world.

Your comments about lazy indolent youth would not be understood by Europeans, who for centuries have encouraged their young to learn about life and then, when necessary, go to work. After all, that is what their parents did and why not. Everyone is happy that way!

The PIGS economy is not built on any economic school theory but has evolved to a system which allows the citizen to enjoy life and go to work when he wants to. Almost everyone has several "jobs", all unknown, if possible, to the taxman, and all enjoying some form of sociability. Most youth live at home with their parents, even grandparents and many never leave that home. The family pools their resources but the head of the family does the financial planning.

PIGS citizens regard any non PIG as an innocent to be taken to the cleaners with a smile! After all, if you have come among them, well you are asking for it and they will accommodate you while you pay out and when they have stripped you bare, you will go home and be easily forgotten.

That is how they have existed for two millenias at least and they will go on existing.

It beats raising capital, putting it at risk, to get sonething you may not want but what the hell, when the foreigner is gone, they will use and abuse what he has left until it is no more. If it has real value, they will sell it to the many brokers among them who live on this constant roundelay!

Your staff should get out an old copy of Zorba and watch Anthony Quinn define the PIGS character.

By the way, the average age of a college student in the PIGS is over 30 and growing older every decade.

Empires Then and Now - March 27th 2012 - By Paul Craig Roberts

America's wars are very expensive. Bush and Obama have doubled the national debt, and the American people have no benefits from it. No riches, no bread and circuses flow to Americans from Washington's wars. So what is it all about?

The answer is that Washington's empire extracts resources from the American people for the benefit of the few powerful interest groups that rule America. The military-security complex, Wall Street, agri-business and the Israel Lobby use the government to extract resources from Americans to serve their profits and power. The US Constitution has been extracted in the interests of the Security State, and Americans' incomes have been redirected to the pockets of the 1 percent. That is how the American Empire functions.

The New Empire is different. It happens without achieving conquest. The American military did not conquer Iraq and has been forced out politically by the puppet government that Washington established. There is no victory in Afghanistan, and after a decade the American military does not control the country.

In the New Empire success at war no longer matters. The extraction takes place by being at war. Huge sums of American taxpayers' money have flowed into the American armaments industries and huge amounts of power into Homeland Security. The American empire works by stripping Americans of wealth and liberty.

DB: "Yeah, you are right. Something is going on ... Hard to figure out what."

... duh... When the ship of state sinks, the rats not only flee the sinking ship, they realize that their chewing the innards (subversions, misrepresentations, crimes, LIES) actually sunk the ship and, start to sing a "different tune", in futile hope that we won't remember exactly how and, by whom we were collectively sunk.

they, by turning, will actually hasten the sinking, assuming anyone still considers them or the media that flogs them to be credible.

Expect a lying "truth and reconcilliation commission", in a futile attempt to "allow" the perps to avoid facing the consequences of their treason by, hopefully, "hanging judges", if not, the "wrath of the people"

as my better half says: excuses are like a$$holes, everybody has one. Hopefully, we will not accept THEIR excuses, and insist on "ignorance of the law, is NO excuse", as is "just following orders".

Posted by gabe on 03/27/12 06:48 PM

Well if the ship is really sinking(and Fareed and Krugman are going to start enlightening people on topics that Alex Jones has covered for a decade as if they had never noticed these issues before) then what will the central banks do? will they do the inflationary route or the deflationary route? I'm still trying to make money here... 3 kids in private school.

seems to me it would be more of a limited hangout type thing... not actually a ship sinking... The DB has talked about this many times... the elite never give up they just are forced to let things progress at some point even if they are inclined to keep everything as stagnant as possible... they weren't happy about America growing in 1890... .but they also did get some benefits out of the deal... they enjoy nicer yachts and jets even more than we do.

The elite will also get life extension technology and lots of other new things if they can manage to let humanity blossom a bit instead of trying to start nuclear wars, holocausts and set up thousands of new prisons.

Effective World Government Will Be Needed to Stave Off Climate Catastrophe

The report advocates a similar revamping of other international environmental institutions. Unfortunately, far more is needed. To be effective, a new set of institutions would have to be imbued with heavy-handed, transnational enforcement powers. There would have to be consideration of some way of embracing head-in-the-cloud answers to social problems that are usually dismissed by policymakers as academic naivete. In principle, species-wide alteration in basic human behaviors would be a sine qua non, but that kind of pronouncement also profoundly strains credibility in the chaos of the political sphere. Some of the things that would need to be contemplated: How do we overcome our hard-wired tendency to 'discount' the future: valuing what we have today more than what we might receive tomorrow? Would any institution be capable of instilling a permanent crisis mentality lasting decades, if not centuries? How do we create new institutions with enforcement powers way beyond the current mandate of the U.N.? Could we ensure against a malevolent dictator who might abuse the power of such organizations?

Behavioral economics and other forward-looking disciplines in the social sciences try to grapple with weighty questions. But they have never taken on a challenge of this scale, recruiting all seven billion of us to act in unison.

Rothschild Group - a key player who claims to leadership in NRM. The owner of almost the entire global financial system, including the U.S. Federal Reserve, Bank of England, and many commercial banks around the world (including the infamous Goldman Sachs). The original basis - the UK, but in recent years is not clearly tied to a region. Main financial assets of the group transferred to China over 10 years ago. Prior to the split of "world government" was the main sponsor of the destruction of the Soviet Union on behalf of the latter. The "boss" of Khodorkovsky (former financial officer of the Rothschilds in Russia before his conflict with Putin), passed last for a partnership with Putin himself. In the U.S. - the main sponsor and the "puppet master" of the Democratic Party. The objectives of the group are currently focused on trying to maintain their power over the global financial system in the inevitable bankruptcy of the United States. The choice made in favor of China, however, the question of control over the latter remains open. Initially, as a tool of this control was considered Russia. Consequently, the Rothschilds were in favor of preserving the unity of the country, but in a weakened form of the commodity producer. Of all the players this group is interested in as quickly as possible collapse of the U.S. and Europe, as it is as much as possible will help weaken the positions of all the other players who started their preparations for this scenario for years later.

Rockefeller Group. In this case, the name of the group is conditional. The Rockefellers family real position in the Group is unknown. This is the second most important world player. In contrast to the Rothschild Group's, their main assets are in the U.S. and in the material sector - oil production and refining, defense industry, electronics and other industries. In the financial sector, they are co-owners of the U.S. Federal Reserve. In the U.S. politics, they are represented the Republican Party. Prior to the split of "world government" with a group of Rothschild were practice together. But today, when it became clear the Rothschilds plans to destroy the hegemony of the United States, they have taken very different positions. In an effort to buy time for themselves (to save their capital), and in an ideal scenario and replace the Rothschilds, they are the main driving force behind the Arab "revolutions" (for non-resistance to the Rothschilds) and the financial debt crisis in Europe (for a sufficiently passive containment of the Rothschilds). Until recently, Rockefeller Group was not involved in Russia. Perhaps that is why ever since the Soviet view was that Republicans have us at war, and Democrats are on friendly terms, however, negotiate with the Republicans is much easier and safer than with the Democrats. The best-known plan of the Group - the union with Mexico and Canada into a single state with the introduction of a new currency - the "Amero" (Following of course the dollar collapse)

View from Russia II (computer translation)

China. For a long time, China did not show itself as a geopolitical player. It is very much in the China traditions. China used to live in a very different time space by slowly accumulating a strategic advantage by staying in the shade. Sometimes it is the answer to any offense may sound a decade later, but it will be very quick and decisive, with no chance to parry. This is what China is going through since the 70s of last century. Slowly seizing positions in Africa, Latin America, Australia (not talking about Southeast Asia). China slowly and quietly encourages "illegal" immigration of its citizens to Europe and the USA. China is increasing its economic power by creating huge reserves of strategic raw materials but, at the same time, China aggressively explores, develops and put into conservation its own oil reserves. China also aggressively develops its military capabilities. It seems to be agreed to cooperate with the Rothschilds group, and even allowed them to make substantial investments in their economy, but Chinese government retains very tight control over its financial system. However, recently the situation forces China being actively involved in the geopolitical game. China does not like to lose and retreat. Turmoil that began in Africa hurt the China interests. The U.S. threat of a war in Iran and the potential division of Pakistan are greatly influence China's interests. That's why China knows that Iran will be forced to get directly involved into the Syrian massacre; it changed its rule to abstain from voting in the UN Security Council in cases of a Russian veto. He first showed the "teeth". But the diplomatic tug of war is not the most favored way to China to show its displeasure. He was accustomed to act thinner. And just a couple of days ago, on his part sounded "shot", which will have enormous consequences in the near future for all players, including the Rothschilds. He announced his intention to run the market "junk" bonds, denominated in Yuan. For those who are not in the subject - is a major step towards creating a new world currency versus the dollar. Here is a humble warning to all interested parties.

If we talk about the main of player then that's all. There are still "artists" playing supportive and minor roles, but it is not important. Although the "playing field" is sometimes felt the presence of another undeveloped character who claims to be the player. We call it the "Heirs of the USSR" - a kind of organized group that is based on the assets of the USSR (including so-called "gold parties"). This is the group that led in the 60s to the idea of participation in New World Order and with their consent the USSR so swiftly disappeared from the world map. Today, this group is partially controls various business structures of modern Russia. But the bulk of their assets are "hidden" in Europe and the U.S. in numerous companies and foundations. There is a good reason to believe that Putin has developed an agreement with these people with after which his release from the bonds of "family love" happened so quickly and painlessly.

And now, after meeting with the actors and performers, will return to the analysis of the situation. The first sign that the situation began to change, was the sudden collapse in the face of a deal between BP (Rothschild) and Rosneft. Even more strange look almost trouble-free conclusion of such a deal with Exxon (the Rockefellers). That is, it looked as a "betrayal" of the Rothschilds and the beginning of "friendship" with the Rockefellers. And yet, it's probably true. The main problem in this relationship has always been that the American "hawks" appeared for the final dismemberment of Russia, and the Rothschilds were "friendly" as a deterrent. But, apparently, at some point, the Rothschilds have decided for themselves that Russia cannot control China. Especially, following the collapse of the world financial system, the Rothschilds will lose "stranglehold" over the Russian Ruling Elite since it will lose their money hidden in the Western. And there was apparently no new "stranglehold" to be found. On the other hand, the Rockefellers to deal with the Rothschilds and their plans could well be advantageous to preserve and even a strengthening of Russia, which provides additional justification for the U.S. as a "defender of the Western world." For our 'rulers' failure, a rapid collapse of Europe and the U.S. where they keep their money will not be desirable. So it led to a mutually beneficial alliance between the two enemies. Then it instantly becomes clear and all subsequent convulsions of the Medvedev's clan, and the violent protests of the liberal community, and so undisguised hatred for Putin, openly voiced by the current American ambassador (Democrat), by the State Department, and the hysteria over the Russian veto on Syria. And much more including the January visit by Kissinger to Moscow with assurances of complete loyaltyof the American Republicans relative to the current Russian government. Time is now rapidly shrinking. Even without any apocalyptic predictions and sentiment is clear that the elections this year in the U.S. is a very serious bifurcation. If the Democrats win the world overwhelm the wave of general chaos and destruction in the economy. The victory of the Republicans are more likely to win would mean the American patriots who do not have any relation to the Rothschilds and an imminent nationalization of the Fed. Consequently, it is neither more nor less than the existence of the most powerful clan today on Earth. That is why the Rothschilds do everything possible to prevent a major confrontation before the US Presidential election.

Everything will be decided soon. But if all that is necessary to be complete idiots to their own now tearing the country apart. We can save only the highest degree of unity to the country. The confrontation of the two major clans will lead to WW III, and Iran and Israel are just decorations.

"But what evidence do you have that there was a power elite split?"

Human nature. Those who seek control are psychopaths. They will work together so long as they consider it to be "of use", such as destabalizing individual and collective political power, truth, public morality and unity, thus creating a power vacuum into which they intend to step.

Once they conclude the final goal (total control) is achievable, they get greedy and want it all for themselves. Further, as the general economy continues to collapse, they run out of low hanging fruit and must consider the resources of their co-consprators (division of labor, with criminal goals) as fair game. The planet is not big enough for two plutocratic forces to exist, without mutual anihillation. Sanity is not an option.

For psychopathic control freaks, there can only be one master. All others are prey, fair game and "acceptable" collateral damage.

History is also very clear on these matters, regarding how predators, by nature and environmental coercions behave and what tolerance of them costs.
