AP Untruths?
The killing of Osama bin Laden during a raid by Navy SEALs on his hideout in Pakistan was the top news story of 2011, followed by Japan's earthquake/tsunami/meltdown disaster, according to The Associated Press' annual poll of U.S. editors and news directors. The death of bin Laden, the al-Qaida leader who masterminded the Sept. 11 terror attacks, received 128 first-place votes out of 247 ballots cast for the top 10 stories. The Japan disaster was next, with 60 first-place votes. Placing third were the Arab Spring uprisings that rocked North Africa and the Middle East, while the European Union's financial turmoil was No. 4. – AP
Dominant Social Theme: These are the world's most important news stories.
Free-Market Analysis: The Killing of bin Laden was voted top news story of 2011 and from our point of view it goes downhill from there. Having observed in detail how elite dominant social themes work, we're well prepared to analyze this year's top news stories.
What we will do in this article is briefly debunk the ones that we believe are factually false. In doing so, we shall surely make the point that the level of promotional manipulation and propaganda is alive and well within the ranks of power elite media.
But we also intend to make the point that (thanks to what we call the Internet Reformation) even modest media websites such as ours can easily follow the REAL conversation taking place these days – and anticipate various power elite promotions.
We think the results are shocking. Out of ten stories selected by the AP poll, six from our point of view are somewhat or palpably false. That is, they have been in some manner concocted to advance elite globalist goals. Here are the stories about which we have significant doubts.
1. OSAMA BIN LADEN'S DEATH: He'd been the world's most-wanted terrorist for nearly a decade, ever since a team of his al-Qaida followers carried out the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. In May, the long and often-frustrating manhunt ended with a nighttime assault by a helicopter-borne special operations squad on his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Bin Laden was shot dead by one of the raiders, and within hours his body was buried at sea.
We've written about this a good deal. It seems likely to us that Osama bin Laden, who was repeatedly reported to have been very ill, died years ago. We've covered the questions about the raid, the lies of the administration regarding the raid, the hurried "burial" – which must have proceeded without a body. There are eyewitnesses who claim that there was no raid, etc.
The reason to (apparently) fake bin Laden's death was probably because the phony war on terror narrative was getting too unwieldy. Also, there were apparently domestic reasons to "kill" bin Laden now, as Barack Obama's handlers wanted him to be perceived as a "victorious" president coming into next year's elections. Just do an Internet search on the terms "Daily Bell" and "Osama bin Laden" for more.
2. ARAB SPRING: It began with demonstrations in Tunisia that rapidly toppled the longtime strongman. Spreading like a wildfire, the Arab Spring protests sparked a revolution in Egypt that ousted Hosni Mubarak, fueled a civil war in Libya that climaxed with Moammar Gadhafi's death, and fomented a bloody uprising in Syria against the Assad regime. Bahrain and Yemen also experienced major protests and unrest.
This is another meme we've written about a great deal. There is simply no doubt that the Obama administration and the US State Department have helped sponsor these Arab Spring demos, in concert with the tacit, apparent support of US corporate and intel resources. AYM in particular has been active in training "youth" on how to return to their countries to begin protests.
Additionally, we have many times pointed out that the apparent goal of these Anglosphere-sponsored revolutions is to create a kind of Muslim crescent arc because almost all the regimes being destabilized have been either Christian or non-sectarian.
The replacement authorities in Tunisia and Egypt are looking to be Muslim rather than secular, just as we predicted. More fodder for what seems to us a fairly suspect "war on terror." For more on our comments just search Daily Bell and "Arab Spring." Also try "Muslim Arab crescent" and "AYM."
3. EU FISCAL CRISIS: The European Union was wracked by relentless fiscal turmoil. In Greece, austerity measures triggered strikes, protests and riots, while Italy's economic woes toppled Premier Silvio Berlusconi. France and Germany led urgent efforts to ease the debt crisis; Britain balked at proposed changes.
The EU crisis is one of central banking – printing money from nothing and expecting the economy to flourish nonetheless. Many other fancy explanations have been proffered but the reality is that monetary stimulus always creates craziness.
Add euro-rigidity to the mix and you have a recipe for a steep financial bust and that's just what happened. The Anglosphere that is trying to build world government anticipated the downturn in some detail. Its enablers and associates are even now trying to parlay the crisis into an ever closer union, in our view.
To maintain, as the mainstream media does, that the current crises are merely an accident of the monetary system doesn't make sense, given what bankers know about the central banking initiated business cycle. For our take on these events just search for "Daily Bell" and "EU directed history."
4. US ECONOMY: By some measures, the U.S. economy gained strength as the year progressed. Hiring picked up a bit, consumers were spending more, and the unemployment rate finally dipped below 9 percent. But millions of Americans remained buffeted by foreclosures, joblessness and benefit cutbacks, and investors were on edge monitoring the chain of fiscal crises in Europe.
What goes for the EU also goes for the US. The housing crash of 2008 was part of a larger central bank bubble caused by too-low interest rates. The results of such rates are entirely predictable and to pretend that the senior banking elites don't know what they are doing seems to us to be an increasingly useless pretense in the era of the Internet.
What is going on, in our view, is a kind of planned depression intended to force further global governance on the Western world in particular. China will be the last economy to founder, but it is already on its way for exactly the same reasons. Search the 'Net for "Daily Bell" and "planned depression" for more articles on this issue.
5. GADHAFI TOPPLED IN LIBYA: After nearly 42 years of mercurial and often brutal rule, Moammar Gadhafi was toppled by his own people. Anti-government protests escalated into an eight-month rebellion, backed by NATO bombing, that shattered his regime, and Gadhafi finally was tracked down and killed in the fishing village where he was born.
Gaddafi was hounded to his destruction by the same Western forces that organized the rest of the current Arab Spring revolutions. There was a twist, though. Apparently many of the rebels were part of the dread Al Qaeda forces that had fought in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and maybe Iraq.
That Western powers would work with these individuals and even arrogate power to them is startling and shows further that the war on terror that is so heavily promoted by the power elite is likely fungible propaganda rather than a deepening, threatening reality. Searching on "Daily Bell" and "Gaddafi" will offer more of our outlook on this tragic episode.
6. OCCUPY WALL STREET PROTESTS: It began Sept. 17 with a protest at a New York City park near Wall Street, and within weeks spread to scores of communities across the U.S. and abroad. The movement depicted itself as leaderless and shied away from specific demands, but succeeded in airing its complaint that the richest 1 percent of Americans benefit at the expense of the rest. As winter approached, local police dismantled several of the protest encampments.
The OWS protests seem to have proven links to such power elite names as George Soros and are the brainchild, supposedly, of a left-wing magazine known as Adbusters. In fact, one finds many of the same ingredients at play in the OWS protests as in the Arab Spring protests across the sea.
From our point of view, the elites are using the OWS protests as a way to generate, ultimately, a kind of French Revolution that will shift the blame from the power elite central banking families to their Wall Street enablers and associates. Under no circumstances must those directly involved with central banking be targeted. Search "Daily Bell," "OWS" and "French Revolution" for more on this perspective.
What remains shocking to us is the increasing brazenness of what seem to be lies about important events. However, in retrospect, those at the top of these thematic promotions don't have much choice in the matter. They need to continue to consolidate.
In order to manage their global consolidation they need to continue to manipulate the news. The problem is that their manipulations are increasingly evident and obvious. Which is why they are now beginning to pass legislation that will make it increasingly difficult for the alternative media to tell the truth about what's taking place.
Conclusion: On the other hand, in our view, no matter what the elites do, the truth is already circulating. Enough people in the West (and around the world) may understand that the 20th century was an unparalleled century of "directed history." And that knowledge may well guarantee that the 21st century shall be less so.

Quite who is behind any of the system which provides liquidity and solvency to nations and peoples and businesses out of nothing, and that is exactly how it is done, should not/does not really matter a jot, but the fact that it is done so simply and magically, and now increasingly more widely known to be done so simply and magically, is something of an increasingly difficult and dangerous a problem for any of those who would be even suspected of being instrumental and actively supportive of the facility/scam/utility/magic/call it what you will, because of the way in which they have selfishly used and systematically abused the system to enrich and empower themselves inordinately and impoverish and enslave everyone else made reliant upon the system.
The whole thing, and the Great Game, is a huge Ponzi now imploding and gonna destroy a whole lotta filthy rich white folk, who really should have known better, for it is not as if their purloined wealth could not have oh so easily bought in the intelligence to save them from themselves and all of the descending pain, and how catastrophically foolish was that misunderestimation from them.

Why? Because even that pig Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda's Deputy Operations guy, admitted OBL had died. Was he part of the "grand conspiracy". Not hardly.
This fact alone is sufficient to knock any hole in ur game. There are others, but there is no further proof needed. He was killed, they admitted it, point-game-match.

Hi, Gregory,
Although there is no date on the above essay, I assume it is a fresh and valid picture of current practices/abilities/failings. And should what you have shared there be a true reflection and accurate analysis of present facilities as provided to US admin/Presidential Executive Office, in the patient prognosis then dire.
Do you imagine intelligence officers in other lands and jurisdiction, explaining to their leaders that the West's present capitalist problems and currency difficulties, are not about power but impending collapse, would run the same risk of isolation and ostracism?
Is not the earlier analytical plight of the Soviet bloc as imagined by western intelligence officers, not now far too accurately mirrored and present as the ongoing US problem, with its deepening crisis of confidence in intelligence product/story line from its supposed to be leading agencies/Chief Intelligence Officers, which may be all to apparent to those who would toil and excel in such fields as provide deep packet inspection and beta metadatabase analysis of media information and source elements?
Time methinks for a change of tack and steered course to more fabulous tales in order, to make better, mutually beneficial and outrageously advantageous use of SMART Intelligence Network Systems which would share their best IntelAIgent Information whilst InterNetworking XSScripts building upon Shared Strengths and Singularities …. Similarities for Compounding with Astounding Positive Reinforcement.
What abilities does RAND Corporation donate to CyberIntelAIgent Security Operations with IT Centres of Space Excellence into Generations and Phormations of Virtual Reality Product Placement for AI Futures, which are the Beta Program Replacements for Failed Present Ventures. Or are those Ventures in the Domain and Ken of Others to Freely Supply to Uncle Sam?

He has it all planned out. Though, he doesn't mention our balance of trade,,, nor the military,,,, nor our bond load,,,,, nor consumer debt,,, nor aging demographics.
We need to print money and spend it on infrastructure,,,, and we'll be booming. Just like Japan.
So, we'll borrow money[debt] to build infrastructure so that we can be more productive? at manufacturing that we don't do anymore. That will work wonders for our balance of trade,,,, all those laundries and pizza parlours.
Our interest rate on the debt WILL go up. We will need over a $ trillion a year just for debt service. Probably another $ trillion for energy imports. We'll pay for it all with the tips from our laundry services.

Last of all, assuming OBL was the monster he is made up to be, it is interesting no less to try and understand why this is and exactly what made him that way... . the facts point to the idea the OBL was opposed to the imperialistic codes which permitted the USA to go to every and any length to assure it's self appointed geopolitical dominance (which included the thing that bothered him most : US military presence in his own country to baby sit all that oil)... the credibility of this argument only breaks down in his methods of opposition... which was violence... often against innocent people. Indeed, no moral code nor religion can support killing innocent people as a way to resolve a problem... not even Islam without a corrupt propaganda to make people believe their own moral codes of spirituality condones killing innocent people for political ends... indeed thank you to understand that this propaganda is the very same on both sides of the coin!
As such, the USA is guilty of the exact same thing in fighting OBL... rather than capturing him, they lauched 2 wars which killed certainly many more innocent people than OBL ever claimed to have killed... and this makes america exactly as morally bankrupt as OBL! So the real problem is just that, morality and the growing global lack of it. The other guy is bad. Killing is good. This is universally dangerous to all human kind as it is unpredictable and abused by the highest pillars of humanity under the guise of just vengeance... . an idea that certainly holds plenty of poltical water as long as that politic is exactly what morality is not... hiding a basic truth. What is important is not America, nor Saudi Arabia, nor a religion, race or creed... or even money. What is important is humanity! Hello?!
As long as people find this illegal vengeance interesting, they may expect the elect & self appointed chauffer's of humanity to point towards war and destruction as the good a just cause for a healthy future with little care as to which side of the coin one sees justice wins or loses... . humanity will lose to the ruthless robber barons who make the bombs, rockets and loan sharks money to governments to pay for death and destruction. Right now we are buying the advertisement to this future... death is cool.
As long as humanity does not move forward towards some sort of open and honest society, the robber barons and owner class who profit by archaic laws that protect wealth and property which have been wrenched from the toils of the lower classes and enforced by fear mongering one sided laws going back to "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth" mentality... which indeed ends up enforced as the starving hand that thus steals bread from the rich should justly be cut off... even if it is the same hand that built the house the rich man lives in ; but now he needs no longer a house built so this jobber with out work has now no food... thus steals out of hunger. In short, justice is no simple matter... yet most every one after that will see the cut off hand as a mark of obvious shame & guilt... what is less obvious is where that shame should and guilt be placed truly!
Gandi's quip : "An-eye-for-an-eye-for-an-eye-for-an-eye ... ends in making everybody blind"... somewhat sums this up.
Towards conclusion, again, it matters little if there was or was not a deeper conspiracy (yet if there was, the killing og OBL snuffs any chance of finding out), there is little doubt even if there was, that OBL played a lead roll which he accepted to be either boss or fall guy. What has died with him (even if his elimination was faked, which unlikely as this may be, could also the case when we have a moral code that permits murder, we have a moral code in which any sham may be the case) was the keys to an honest open society which tries it's criminals rather than executes them with out trial...
by killing the suspect, the witness has been also silenced... and this opens the very argument that this may have been the real intention for killing OBL. The best way to have quenched the doubts concerning conspiracy would have been to bring OBL to trial... this is either the biggest legal blunder in history, or part of a cover up... i.e. ongoing conspiracy.
The proper legal process which permits a democracy to distingush it's self from a dictatorship... and do note that democracies have given enthusiastic reception to dicatorships in the past with the full support of a very sophisticated public which were in fact swayed by a complex system of propaganda (indeed mind control tactics) to make them support and embrace this... it was called Nazi Germany.
The simple ugly fact is this : justice has been by bypassed by vengeance. That America can be satisfied by this fact only demonstrates it's moral bankrupt lack of character towards the world and it's self. Praising BO for this is one giant leap forward towards a foolish and spineless acceptance of dictatorship. He should be brought to justice!
In the wake if this accepted sham comes the landslide Senate vote to continue the "Patriot Act". This is a clear sign that the American people have been successfully cowed by these events... They are no longer "The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave" but rather "The Land of Big Government is Watching You and the Home of the Frightened Sheep." Without justice there can be no freedom and there will be no freedom. Now, rather than prosecuting a great criminal the justice required is to call in the excecutive branch for murder ... if not treason, for by passing the constitution and the laws which give all criminals the status of innocence until proved guilty by a court of law.

Much has been said about the slow but certain erosion of the american constitution, but little has been said about the simple fact that that document stands as perhaps the greatest secular moral code humanity has yet to know.
Indeed the foundations of this moral code in america is under attack. We have become so dissolute by falling into camps of petty differences that when the obvious slaps us in the face we become like these maschocist who asked to be slapped yet again a little harder to derive what ever strange pleasure that may bring...
The most obvious case of point is Barack Obama (BO) claiming credit for the killing of Osama Bin Laden (OBL)...
Now, indeed, the president of the united states presides over the federal military and must accept responcibility for the actions there of... but it is said that in this case he ordered this killing... and the result is that people applaud since indeed OBL is certainly some sort of criminal... thus not BO is a great hero. Right?!
The problem however is not to what extent OBL is a bad man and deserves death... the problem is that he was 2 things... OBL was the number one suspect for 9/11 (and several other such crimes) and number 2 he was the number one witness to the same crimes... much as was Lee Harvey Oswald who was shot and killed by Jack Ruby.
The killing of Lee Harvey Oswald (LHO) in effect gave the world a shroud on what really happened that day. There is little doubt LHO was involved... but exactly how and what really happened was covered up by his killing... and the same is in effect here.
We will never know what roll OBL really played since he will never be brought to trial... The reality of the matter is this... two wrongs does not make a right.
The moral brake down is visible by america's wistful glee over OBL being killed. This is no different than the dancing in the streets the Palestinians were said to have done when the World Trade Center fell (this media event of Palestinians dancing however is not a proved fact as there is evidence that this may have been staged propaganda : but indeed there may have been no less similar wistful glee considering most Palestiniansa people of semite origin closely related to the jews... perfectly know the USA give billions of dollars to the Zionist cause which has stolen their homes and placed a blight of oppression upon them as if it were they who had put the jews in Hitler's killing factories).
The fact is, our public servants have left being servants behind to the status of leaders... in fact they are now above that too because they can order to kill people... with out a trial. And be praised for this! Is this good news?!
And why is this? Is it that these "leaders" are above the law or are they trying to tell us that the law is not good enough for them... that they can dictate an order to kill... and this pleases the people... Why? Is it that the propaganda of OBLs admitted guilt is so strong that thus a legal trial is useless? Or are people afraid that OBL may say something they don't wish to hear... that they'd rather not know?! Or is it simply that the courage of America is waning... they are afraid of Islam's bleak eye for eye moral bleakness?! A nation of cowards... whispering... shhhhhh! Kill, but don't talk too loud!
The fact of the matter is, the elite forces that carried out this attack were not ordered to capture OBL, but to execute him... Can anybody really imagine that these same elite forces do not have the absolute means and methods to stun and thus capture if that was the absolute order was?! I have seen park rangers in the Adirondacks shoot racoons with darts which put those animals to sleep thus drop them out of the trees into nets in a matter of seconds way back in the 60s... thus am sure the american military has things that can do yet better to a man if they desired to... so the excuse that it was too difficult to capture him alive is pure concoction. Nonsense, a lie. A corruption of truth... perhaps an act of jilad? Certainly not a christian act. "Thou shalt not kill" said the tablets held up by Moses... thus not a jewish act morally either... nothing in the secular constitution providing the presiding elected executive with the rights to murder suspected criminals without a fair trial either... no where! So who does BO think he is... and where do the American people get such a big thrill over permitting such a giant kangaroo leap over legal justice?!
What does this tell us?! Does it say that our elected officials do not trust the system of justice enough to bother with it?
If our neighbor commits a crime against us... should we do like our leaders thus take justice on a short cut by punishing our neighbor ourselves? After all they are our model for moral behaivior!
This has nothing to do with whether or not OBL planned and put into effect the destruction of the WTC... It has to do with the proper rule of law. The law is a system to investigate, weigh and balance the facts to arrive at a conclusion... this has been by passed. It is a crime! An even bigger crime than burglary at Watergate! It is a murder crime, pure and simple.
Now... again, I am not suggesting the OBL was Mr Nice Guy... and it matters little if he really pulled 9/11 himself or if there was a greater so called "inside conspiracy"... but the fact is... by killing him, if there were unknown elements (conspiracy theory or not), these elements have been hushed... and the crime of 9/11 is only solved in as much that the facts will thus never be known, as not only the prime suspect has been sentanced with out trial, but the prime witness has been silenced with out trial... hello Oswald! The difference being LBJohnson didn't admit to hiring Ruby to kill Oswald... (not suggesting this is so, but who knows?!)
For all the throng of happyness over this, please know your glee is in the absences of fact and you are dancing over the chard bliss of your own ignorance by acceptence of this. You now have a so called public servant who may kill anyone who is suspected of a crime... with out being proved guilty by a court of law... brag about it and get higher ratings of public opinion... which is to say the public servant is being praised for a cold blooded vengeance murder of a murderer who has by passed the justice system... the public servant who does this is not a public servant... he is an absolute ruler with public consent... thus a popular dictator. Hooray!
Of course the body of OBL was removed and destroyed so fast that the only proof we have that he is really dead are photos and the trusted words of our "murder is ok" government that America's number one suspect is really dead : the question this begs is this : May not a government that can openly thus morally murder, thus not openly commit other acts forbidden by Moses... such as bearing false witness?! You do not even need be a christian to pose this question... although let us not quite believe there is anything particularly christian either about murdering even murderers.
In short, the witch hunt is over and the accused witch has been burned at the stake and the mob is thrilled at the smell of absence of their own moral beliefs !

News media has always been part of the business of selling advertising, and therefore logic dictates that, in a free market, the "news" reported will be whatever generates the most ad revenue. Each media outlet tries to find their niche "slant" that will secure the attention of a large, loyal segment of the population, which advertisers then pay to access. Objectivity has never been part of the equation.
If we were a society that appreciated freedom and free markets, people would realize that it's their personal responsibility to use their own good sense and filter information that's financed by large corporations trying to sell them things. And if they don't like the information, and/or think they're being conned, the responsible action would be to not respect the companies that are sponsoring the information and not buy their products. A company that regularly offends its potential customers could not survive for long, one would think.
The corporations that fund the constant propaganda not only survive, but reap incredible profits. This obviously means that propaganda results in effective market penetration which results in lots of sales. It also means that the biggest, most wealthy corporations, that pay the most to the media corporations for advertising, will have the most influence on the media content. It's always been this way, and always will be, unless the media market becomes manipulated with laws that censor information to the liking of special interest groups.
How many people really want to hear that the bankers and politicians have stolen the wealth of the nation , or that 9/11 was an inside job, or that Osama died from disease in 2002? How many corporations are knocking on your door, DB, offering millions for an ad placement?
Shouldn't it be the responsibility of individuals to vote with their wallet, and if they're too lazy to do that, isn't the negative result exactly what the free market demands, until the individuals have had enough and begin to act responsibly?

Meantime I have just noticed something about the 'news' coverage of the lady who was assualted, disrobed, and kicked by police in Tahrir Square.
CNN and BBC have been all over this story, endlessly showing the footage, that they endlessly describe as "shocking". On one of the endless plabacks though, I suddenly noticed something.
My cable channel gives the ability to replay, slow down, and go frame-by-frame. The picture of this woman on the ground being stamped on by a policeman's big boots suddenly changes on examination. The 'kicker' (although dressed like police) is clearly a woman. Her exposed hand is delicate and feminine. And there are no boots. She wears soft shoes, to deliver the kicks. Are they really kicks ? Is this really a victim ? Suddenly it all looked like acting. Next day of course Scene Two sees thousands , maybe tens of thousands of women in the square protesting this one particular event.
They should know better than to believe their news. We all should.
