While Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian army continue to burn through citizens for conscription, the West continues to dump money they don’t have into the losing war. Even at the expense of their own military officers at home.

Last winter, Canada dropped $60 million into the Ukraine bucket to train F-16 fighter pilots…

That’s on top of the $4 Billion Canada has already sent for guns and ammo – large and small.

Wait for Zelenskyy’s blank stare…

CBC reports:

Canada commits an extra $500M in military assistance as NATO rallies around Ukraine

“Canada plans to commit an additional $500 million in military assistance to Ukraine this year, the federal government said on the sidelines of the NATO Summit.

The announcement, late Wednesday, capped a day where the 32-member alliance clearly felt the political pressure of a war going badly.

NATO delivered long-sought commitments and reassurance, stating in its official declaration the Eastern European country is on an “irreversible” path to membership.

The additional money, on top of the projected $4 billion in arms and munitions Canada has already pledged and donated, came following a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Washington summit.”

All this while Trudeau seems to be doing his best to destroy Canadians at home. He’s printing more money, increasing useless carbon taxes, throwing money into elementary school systems to promote LGBTQ+ initiatives, which are all making living harder for Canadians.

This it’s his own military personnel.

The number of families visiting local food banks nearest Canadian Armed Forces base in New Brunswick has doubled.

Global News reports:

Demand doubles at food bank in Oromocto, N.B. driven in part by Canadian Forces members

“The Oromocto and Area Food Bank looks small from the outside, but take a step into one of its back rooms and you’ll find stacks of food. Boxes of spices, canned sauce, and even cat food fill rooms from one end to the other.

But it’s necessary — the food bank’s executive director, Jane Buckley, said demand has doubled in the last couple of years…

…The food bank is also within minutes of a Canadian Forces Base in Gagetown called 5th Canadian Division Support Base.

Buckley said since the pandemic, the number of military members accessing the food bank has also doubled to 40 to 50 members.

“I think at some level, it’s a concern,” she said, adding that the cost of living is impacting everyone, but military pay could be contributing to the number of members accessing the food bank’s services.

This is not the first example of our leaders throwing money away to foreign wars, but if more Canadian Military Families are being forced to feed their children through their local food bank instead of their regular pay then this has to stop.

The amount of wasted money on war has to stop. Especially, for a conflict that could have ended before it started. The Ukrainian money pit has to get shut down.
